Get ready to go all-out in the first-ever Olympic lifting gym class in Southport with the talented Katie Green! This incredible class is perfect for anyone looking to improve their strength, power, and explosiveness through the practice of Olympic weightlifting.

Katie will teach you proper lifting technique and focus on perfecting your form, along with emphasizing the snatch and clean and jerk. You'll be amazed at how much your strength and power will improve by attending these sessions!
Olympic weightlifting is a discipline that requires strength, focus, and technique.

The class will begin with a warm-up and mobility drills to help prepare your body for the workout ahead. You’ll then move on to the main lifts, where you’ll practice and refine your technique with the attentive guidance of Katie .

As you progress, you may work with heavier weights and build your strength, speed, and power. The class will end with a cool-down and stretching session to help relieve any muscle tension and promote recovery.

Whether your goal is to compete in Olympic weightlifting or simply to improve your overall fitness, an Olympic weightlifting gym class is a challenging, rewarding, and fun way to enhance your strength, power, and technique.

If you’re already a member, all you need to do is turn up! If you’re not yet a Level Up member but would like to try one of our classes, you can either grab one of our free day passes or purchase a class token.

Shower Essentials

Our bathrooms are equipped with shower gel and shampoo/conditioner but if you’d like to use our facilities please bring a towel.

Katie Green

Katie has been Olympic lifting for over 4 years and started her journey on the platforms she now coaches on! Her journey with Olympic lifting started when she was looking for a new hobby and hoping to get leaner without touching the cardio kit.

Over 20kg later, Katie competes at a national level and coaches people to enjoy the sport she loves.
